Water Tanks for Zanzibar Water Authority
The project involves the construction of 10 water storage tanks, each with a capacity of 1 million liters, for the Zanzibar Water Authority (ZAWA). These tanks are strategically distributed across various locations on Unguja and Pemba islands, ensuring an enhanced and reliable water supply for the region.
Designed to meet the growing demand for water, this large-scale initiative aims to improve water storage and distribution infrastructure, addressing the needs of both residential and commercial sectors. The tanks are constructed using advanced engineering techniques and high-quality materials to ensure durability and efficiency in Zanzibar’s unique environmental conditions.
This project represents a significant step forward in strengthening the islands' water management systems, supporting sustainable development, and improving the quality of life for the local population. By expanding water accessibility and security, it contributes to ZAWA's mission of delivering clean and reliable water to all parts of Zanzibar.
